first of all, happy belated lúnasa to you!!!

this is the perfect time to take stock of your personal harvest, aka all of the things that are coming into fruition for you after a year of hard work & nurturing your goals.

i know what i’m about to harvest—do you?

it was actually around this time last year that i launched this newsletter. shortly after, i gave you your first exclusive preview of my upcoming (& first!) tarot deck, cozy witch tarot. at that point, the release date had been pushed back a handful of times & everything felt incredibly uncertain. i told you i was feeling hopeful about a 2023 release, but even as i typed those words, i was so terrified it wouldn’t happen.

but it is.

it is happening.

when you receive this stardust note, cozy witch tarot will be published in just two months—on october 3rd—& to celebrate the quickly approaching release, i wanted to give you a look at two of the minor arcana cards:

when i was deciding which cards to show you today, i saw these two next to each other on my desk & just knew they were it. they manage to look so similar & yet so different at the same time, don’t they? the positions of the witches are almost identical, & they’re both even holding containers of some type.

in the nine of cups, the witch holds a coffee mug filled with dreams & gratitude.

in the ten of swords, the witch holds a curse bottle filled with betrayal & pain.

that’s life in a nutshell, isn’t it? you never get the blessing without the curse to follow & vice versa. just like everything can turn to shit at any moment, everything can turn to stardust at any moment, too. together, these cards show how we’re kept constantly on our toes.
